You may have heard me drop the words ‘Ritual Master’ here on Grow Deep and wonder… what does that even mean?
The Ritual Master path is a part of my life which I speak about but don’t often explain. It’s a part of my life that is steeped in so much magick, value, and gratitude sometimes I don’t even have the words.
The best way to understand the Ritual Master path is to walk it… to become a Ritual Master. But today, I’ll give you an introduction.
I study metaphysics at the Modern Mystery School. When I first heard the word ‘metaphysics’ I wasn’t exactly sure what it meant, so I’m just going to past the dictionary definition here for you.
a division of philosophy that is concerned with the fundamental nature of reality and being
I would argue that metaphysics isn’t philosophy; it’s science. Metaphysics is that which is ‘above physics’. To me, it’s the science of what is not ‘obvious’. I began studying metaphysics by attending Empower Thyself and then Healer’s Academy.

Fellow initiate Paulo Coelho has written a fantastic book about being a warrior, called "Warrior of the Light: A Manual".
Below, I’ll share a few insightful passages from this manual for Warriors of the Light. You may notice by reading these quotes that you are already seeking this path.

However, from time to time a great obstacle appears in our path, which was put there by God, and which is there for a reason. The reason is: to give us the opportunity to change everything, to move forwards.”
This particular quote makes me think of how much of the Ritual Master path is really about overcoming the limitations created by the mind. Often, the obstacles we can see as huge barriers are just a little blip! Barriers to progression like sending a difficult email to a colleague, hopping on a plane, taking time off of work, or being away from our loved ones are typically
